Christmas Eve
The must-have under the tree picture.
It was definitely a bit of a different Xmas Eve at our house. We did manage to get out our luminarias which is a Xmas Eve tradition in our neighborhood. We also put on Lauren's snowsuit and took her out to meet the neighbors. Overall, it was a great night, if not an early one considering mom had to get her nightly 9pm-11pm nap, since Miss Lauren likes to stay awake from 11pm-4am....maybe she's waiting for Santa!
"Mom...how come I have to wear all these silly reindeer outfits?!"

More Lauren...
Introducing Lauren Taylor Moss!!!
On Friday December 19th at 3:12 am James and I welcomed Lauren Taylor to the world. We're not too sure she wanted to come out, but after 18 hours of labor with 2 hours of pushing, she made her debut. The nurses at the hospital (same as Meagan works) were so excited, they had a special hat waiting for her!
The little stinker came in at just a hair under 8lbs, but mom's going to round up :)
Dr. Abman was wonderful and stuck with us through the entire last two hours (very rare for docs to do). She was definitely one of the heroes of our night.
The proud parents...overjoyed and slightly overwhelmed. We were just so excited to have her here finally.

Update on Lauren's Arrival
Well, with much help from my parents, our house is decorated for Xmas, Lauren's room is ready and all 500 of her newborn outfits are washed (well, maybe not quite that many).
After seeing our doctor this week, we've scheduled an induction for 2 weeks from today, Dec. 18th, if she doesn't come before then. We are looking forward to having her home for Xmas!

Baby Moss's Nursery....oh, and her name too!
Everyone has been very patient waiting for the name. James and I are excited to share it with everyone, as well as these pics of her nursery. We are very happy with how it turned out and can't wait to bring her home!
Pink, sage green and buttercup yellow are the main colors.
The location for many future diaper changes...James assures me as long as I bring him a box of gloves from the hospital, he's good to go :)
Thanksgiving Snow
The Friday after Thanksgiving we were surprised with a big dumping of snow. What was forcasted to be a "few flurries" ended up being about 5 inches!
Zoe is a Texas dog through and through...not a fan of the snow. It doesn't help that if we have more than 2 inches, her belly drags in the snow...
...and when that happens, dad steps in to dry her off and save the day!
