Here are a few pics from Lauren's first big bath tub experience. Now while she appears happy in these shots, additional tries in the bath tub have not been so successful and we have temporarily let her go back to her baby bath tub. If anyone has any "moving to the big bath tub" tips, we'd greatly appreciate it.

First Day of Swim Class
Lauren started swim lessons last week and she absolutely loves them! Most of the kids in the class are her age and they really make it fun. She's turning into quite the little fish.
Getting in the pool...notice the little boy to the right of Lauren. That's Owen her swim class boyfriend.
The whole class enjoying our 90 degree water.

Yea Teeth!!
Lot's of excitement at the Moss house. About 3 weeks ago, Dad discovered Lauren first tooth poking through. It's a sharp little sucker! The second one showed up this week right next to it. Knock on wood, but so far teething has not seemed too bad for her. We had one fussy day preceeding the first tooth, but nothing terrible. We're hoping this trend continues for the rest of the teeth. In celebration of her first tooth, Lauren tried a teething biscuit.
Somebody should have told mom how messy these things are!

July 4th 2009
For the 4th of July, we ventured out to our friend's house. Lauren was such a trooper and played with all the other kiddos. Actually, I think it was more that they played with her while she just starred trying to figure out who all these little people were!
White onesie on a puky baby...may not have been my brightest idea :)
Headband or no headband...the jury is still out.

Playing in the backyard
Lauren loves to play outside. Here are two videos of her...the first is her playing peek-a-boo in her Boppy outside. As you can see she also loves to be scared. The second is Dad carrying her around on his shoulders. Watch closely to see why this is not a great idea with a baby who has reflux.

6 Months and Counting!
On June 19th Lauren turned 6 months. It was an exciting and somewhat sad day for mom. She seems to be growing so fast now (or maybe it's just that she's sleeping through the night so it just seems faster!). At her check-up she weighed in at a whopping 15lbs 2oz and 26 1/2 in. This puts her in the 30% for weight and 75% for height....which means that hopefully her new reflux meds worked and she's starting putting on some pounds. For her "birthday" we took her to pick out an Exersaucer, which is basically just a stationary amusement park for babies. This contraption had so many toys that we actually had to remove some so she wasn't so overwhelmed. Here's some pics of her enjoying her new toy.

Time to Eat!!
We started Lauren on rice cereal shortly before her 6 month birthday. She wasn't a huge fan until we started adding veggies and fruit. Her favorite's so far are sweet potato and applesauce, but she'll eat just about anything. We also got a high chair so she's really a big girl now!
Trying rice cereal...not too enthused, but I wouldn't be either...yuck!
Sweet potatoes...yay!!

First meal in her big girl high chair.
She's still got to grow into it a bit.
