Well it's official...Lauren is in love with the Easter Bunny. We thought it was funny last year when her little four month self sat happily on his lap, but this year confirmed her love of the bunny. We had to peel her off him! Needless to say, we were a little worried about a repeat of the "Santa episode", but she could not have been more content. See the difference in her last year's bunny to this year's...

Spring in Here...sort of
We've had a few beautiful days recently and were able to get outside and enjoy some warmer weather. (Of course, it snowed 10 inches yesterday, so not quite there yet). Lauren is doing well and growing like a weed. She wants to walk everywhere now by herself...no hand holding for her! Here are some recent pics....
A little "Crackberry" in the making. Check out YouTube site for her phone skills.

Playing in the rocks on a warm day. The hat is because the sun in CO is so strong...and it looks pretty cute on her!
Relaxing on her couch, watching Wonder Pets (the new favorite show).

February Flew By
Hi there! Quick update on the Moss's...
We're all doing well. Lauren had a cold about 3 weeks ago that turned into double ear infections. Went through antibiotics, but apparently it's still there so we're starting a new round this week. She's not acting the least bit sick though. Sleeping and eating like a champ. My 14 month old had baked salmon and steamed broccoli for dinner and absolutely LOVED it....26lbs and growing!! James and I are fine. I also have had the neverending cold, but hopefully it will be gone soon. Snowing off and on here. We are all ready for spring, but snow free days are still about 2 months away :( Here's just some random pics from the last month. New video on You Tube!
Reading her favorite book "Olivia".
Playing dress up...not too sure what she's supposed to be..."princess meets rock diva"?
Digging in the garbage, a favorite past-time.
Shoveling in her first ice cream cone (minus the ice cream).
Smiling for the camera in front of her "house" her most favorite toy :)

Fun At Home
Well, January has been a rather uneventful month. Lauren is getting pretty good at walking in short spurts. Check out YouTube for video. She's also been a bit sick for the last week, so we have been spending alot of time at home playing with our toys...and other non-toy stuff. Seems like the favorite so far in climbing in and out of the laundry basket. Somebody remind me why we keep buying her "real" toys?
We love riding our Mickey plane. Note the "basset hound-like" amount of drool...apparently her 1st year molars are coming in.
Second favorite game..."pulling out all the bibs". Guess who gets to repack them several times a day?

Fun with Granny
Recently James's mom, "Granny", flew back home to New Zealand. We were lucky enough to have had her stay with us the past month. Lauren absolutely LOVED having her Granny around to play "piggie toes" and to teach her to blow kisses (see YoutTube for video). So here are a few pics of our wonderful month with Granny.

Winter Fun
We've gotten ALOT of snow so far this year and finally have had a chance to get out and play in it a little. Since it takes about an hour to bundle up little missy, we try and make the most of our time outside.
Riding in her new backpack!
Posing on her sled...check out YouTube for sledding video.
Bundled up for Holiday Lights...she looks cozy, but don't forget it's about 17 degrees outside!

Xmas 2009
Xmas was especially fun this year with Lauren able to really enjoy her presents. We did two Xmas celebrations, one in Dallas on 12/20 and one in Denver w/ Granny Jane on the 25th (still waiting for pics from Dallas). We all had a wonderful day and enjoyed a delicious meal of roast chicken w/ bread sauce, one of James's favorite dishes.
Xmas Eve story and a bottle...a wonderful tradition :)
Lauren playing with her See and Say!
Zoe enjoying Lauren's new Dora couch...made herself right at home :)
Lauren opening her big present from Granny of a wonderful rocking horse...check out our YouTube sight for some "riding" video.

Lauren's First Birthday Party...take 1!
Lauren had her "Denver" birthday party on Sunday. Her Granny Jane was here from New Zealand to help celebrate.
Full on icing mess!! Please tell me who thought black icing for bumble bees on a baby's birthday cake was a good idea.
Following her cake coma....a little relaxing with her friends on the couch. Ben is 4 weeks younger than Lauren and Emily is 6 weeks younger. Lauren gave them some good tips on how to get the good stuff for your birthday :)
Opening presents with the gang. All the other kids were a great help and even volunteered to test drive Lauren's new toys for her!
Lauren Meets Santa
Lauren met Santa this week and needless to say was not impressed. My mom says it's something about the beard, but whatever it was, one look at the old man and she lost it. Oh well, maybe next year!
Got some great pics while waiting for Santa though!
Somebody is quite the little poser :)
